God Makes Everything and the Garden of Eden
All ages · Bible Study · ~11 minutes
In the beginning God speaks, and light, sky, seas, stars, animals and people come to be, one day at a time. Then the LORD God forms a man from the dust, plants a garden in Eden with rivers and fruit trees, and names one tree he must not eat from. A calm retelling of the Bible's first pages.

How the story begins

The earth had no shape yet, and it was empty.
Darkness covered the deep waters, while God's Spirit hovered over their surface.
Then God spoke: “Let there be light.” And there was light.
