What it is
LumiStory can learn the sound of your voice from a short recording and use it to read stories aloud. Choose it for the narrator, for one character, or for several.

How to use it
Get the Advanced plan
Voices are part of Advanced, which includes everything in Basic.
Record your voice
On your account page, choose Add a voice and read a short passage aloud. It takes about 30 seconds, and somewhere quiet works best.
Pick your voice on a story
Open any story and choose who reads each character: the original voice, or one of yours.
Press play
The first time, the story takes a minute or two to prepare and starts as soon as the opening is ready. After that it plays instantly.

Share it with loved ones
From your account page, download any story in your voice as a video or send a link. Grandparents and friends can watch it without an account, and the link works for 7 days.
Good to know
- What's included: 2 voices and 10 new stories a month. Replaying a story never counts, and you can add more voices or stories from your account page.
- Children's voices: a parent or guardian can record their child's voice too, after confirming consent.
- Languages: your voice can read in 10 of our languages, including ones you don't speak. Cantonese isn't available yet.
- Your recording: it is used only for your account's stories. Deleting a voice removes the recording and everything made from it.
