How the story begins
Two mornings later, Leo brought Mara to retired accountant Neela Shah. She had agreed to examine their copies.
Leo found her name on an old trust statement. She offered her retained working papers.
I prepared these entries. I'll explain what I recorded. I won't guess who somebody was before they used this name.
She covered unrelated accounts with paper. Mara placed Ruth's statement beside the photograph of Daniel's ledger.
