Does it really sound like me?

Can I try it before I sign up?
Yes. Tap “Try it with your own voice” at the top of this page, read a few lines for about 10 seconds, and you'll hear the opening of a story in your voice. You don't need an account, and your recording isn't saved.
Do my grandkids need an account?
No. They open the link you send and press play. It works in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer.
I'm not good with technology. Is it hard?
Not at all. You press one button, read a short passage aloud, then pick a story. The whole thing takes about two minutes.
How long does the link work?
7 days. You can send a new link any time, stop sharing sooner, or download the story as a video to keep.
Who can hear my recording?
Only your account can use your voice, and the recording is never shared. Deleting the voice removes it and everything made from it.
What happens after the 7 free days?
Your plan continues at $9.99 a month. Cancel from your account page before the 7 days are up and you won't be charged.
How will my voice be used?
Only inside LumiStory, to read stories for your own account. It is never used outside the app: it isn't shared, sold or used for ads, and no one outside your account can choose it. It's processed by LumiStory's own voice system, not a third-party voice service, and deleting it removes the recording and everything made from it.
